Minutes from Bull Falls Brewers Meeting May 9, 2003


Hello one and all,
 
Finally I had a chance to get to you the minutes and treasurer's report from last meeting. I didn't know I was the new secretary also, so bear with me.
 
 
Meeting called to order 7:10 by president Mark Strehlow.
 
First:                 We discussed setting up our own "Brew Fest" @ Country Aire Restaurant. (Hope that is spelled correctly). The rental due is $50 per Duane.  Thoughts we to charge a $5 entrance fee per Club.  Have a brew contest. Also this is to be open to brew clubs only and not the general public. We need to get info from the Green Bay Brew Club regarding liabiltiy issues.  How do we minimize liability?  It was decided that Bill F. Mike Roman. and Mark S. would get any details to set up the contest and "festival"  More to follow at next month's meeting.
 
Secondly:      Brochure Status:    We still need design ideas. Rod and Mike R. passed around some great ideas.  Thank you very much!
 
Thirdly:            Dues Decision:    Uninamous vote to have annual dues $25.  Our fiscal calendar will run January thru Dec.  New members will be prorated @ $2/mth.  Dues for 2003 are due @ next meeting. I will put together a roster. The following members owe $12 to cover thru the end of 2003.
   
    Mike Zamzow, Jeff Berens, Matt Seliger, Bruce and Kim. Q., Tom Shockley, Brian F. Mike R., Dave Flegle and myself.
Thank you to everyone who has currently paid:  Wayne Zunker, Greg Sperry, Pat Ostrowski, Bill Flood, Rod and Jill Meydan, Dwayne Busche, and Scott Burton.
 
Fourth:        Our next meeting in June is to be held and Blue Gill Park off Oriole Dr. next to the boat landing. In case of bad weather we will meet @ H&H.
 
Lastly:          We had collected a $20 raffle for 2 Sprecher Glasses.  Bill Won!!! ( Must have been rigged) Oh well.  Congratulations Bill.  The winnings bought 2 pitchers for the crew.
 
 
Finally the Treasurer's Report:
 
Current Balance $407.63 (this does not include  Scott's dues) No outstanding debts at this time. We are sitting pretty good.
