Minutes from Bull Falls Brewers Meeting November 11, 2004
Hello fellow brew club members!
Last night at our monthly meeting we welcomed as our guest Mike Krause from the St Point club.
Our meeting began with ideas being bantered about on our joint club brew event next spring with the Point and Waupaca clubs. The details will be worked out between now and the January meeting at which time we will have an update which will allow us to decide on how we proceed as a club with the upcoming event. Meanwhile as a means to facilitate organization of the event Bill offered to create a special “listserv” for the organizing group to use. It sounds like a group brew could be in the works which means our club would be doing a big brew to compete directly with the other clubs’ big brews. For me, that idea gets the old competitive juices flowing, the club reputation could be at stake in this event. All who can participate in this part of the event should to ensure our brew has a good showing. Do the words “Golden Growler” mean anything to you? They will if we win.
Mike Z will be contacting the H&H management regarding our January meeting. This is the meeting where we enjoy supper and few beers upstairs in a room reserved for the club. If you know now that you will be there let me know because they will need a total count and a count of who will be grilling there own meal. Thanks in advance.
A motion was made by Brett Danke to expand the access to the club on-line forum to include member from the other clubs. The motion passed unanimously.
Mark Buttera of the Point Brew Supply has a new larger brew store located a couple of blocks over from Copps on Michigan ave.
