Minutes from Bull Falls Brewers Meeting January 13, 2005
Great food, great company, and great beer. I think everyone at the dinner last night would agree. It was great to see some of the spouses that we do not get to see on a regular basis again.
As agreed in December we would have an update on the competition and nominations of officers.
Mike Roman initiated conversation regarding the competition.
Mike Zamzow made a motion to continue with the competition with each club making a group brew (a large batch of beer made by many members of the club with a portion of this batch used for judging) the style to be determined at a later date, and individual brews also (one per person) to be judged on a people choice basis.
Joanne seconded it and the motion was passed.
An idea for how the style would be picked is to put the style names in a hat and the one drawn out would be the style used.
The Polar Brew is being held this year on February 19 starting at 10am on Sunset Lake in Amherst Junction.
