Minutes from Bull Falls Brewers Meeting February 9, 2006

We had 20 people present at the February meeting. 

To start the meeting off, our President Bill Flood along with Mike Roman and Mark Strehlow, updated everyone on the progress of the golden growler contest. 
    The date is set for April 29 from 1-5p.
    It will take place at the Saloon DuBay in Knowlton. 
    The entry is Schwartz beer and the BJCP guidelines will be followed.
 
           12 ounce brown bottles
            no special caps (any logo on the cap will need to blacked out)
            no embossments or labels on the bottle
            3 beers from each club will be entered. 
            People's choice would follow BJCP requirements.
 
            There are approximately 12 beers from our club.
 
            The April meeting (April 13) will be the judging of our clubs beers.
 
The treasurers report showed we have $703.87.
 
Next month is dues month.  $20/family.
 
Nominations took place this month.  They are as follows:

I believe there is still a chance for write-ins.  If not I am sure someone will let us know in a hurry.
 
Brett gave a very thorough presentation on judging beer.  This will prepare everyone for the task at hand in April. 
 
Since Brett did such a great job we will be doing the same in March.  We will be judging Oatmeal Stout.
