Minutes from Bull Falls Brewers Meeting March 9, 2006

The meeting was called to order by our President Bill Flood.  19 people were present.
 
The treasurers report:
$536.51 in savings
     1.96 in cash
  106.58 in GG fund
$645.05 total
 
Brett Danke and Mike Roman reported about the Golden Growler Competition.  The rules for the contest and the peoples choice were forwarded to the listserve.  There will be the "best of the worst" for the Schwartz beers that did not make the cut for the Golden Growler.  There were changes in the rules for style selections for the years to come.  We will be ordering tasting glasses for the competition.  T-shirts may also be ordered if there is enough to order.  You need to sign up with Mike Roman asap if you want a shirt.  They will only order as many shirts as people signed up for.
 
Club dues were due tonight.  $20/member or family.  As a new comer you get 2 months free then it is $2/ month there after.
 
The April meeting is changed to April 20, which is the 3rd Thursday, due to our normal meeting night being Holy Thursday.  The time discussed is 6:00pm to accommodate the Schwartz beer judging.
 
Voting took place tonight with the office of secretary up for election.  The vote was between Mike Zamzow and Mark Strehlow.  Our new secretary is Mike Zamzow.  Congratulations to you Mike.
 
See everyone next month APRIL 20th.  Bring your Schwartz beer for judging and some crackers or bread to cleanse your palette.
  
Below are the minutes from our December meeting of 2004.  This should clear up any questions.  Yes this does mean that we did not follow our own club rules.  There was no discussion on needing to be a paid member in order to vote.

Jeff initialized discussion on club structure. 

Matt Seliger made a motion to have nominations in January.  Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mike Zamzow to hold an election of officers every February.  Motion passed.

Mike Roman made a motion to have the officers of President, Secretary and Treasurer for a 1 year term.  Motion passed.

Brett made a motion to collect dues in March.  Motion passed.

Jeff made a motion and amended it to collect $20 per year per family for dues, $2 per month for new members with the first 2 months free.  Motion passed.
