Minutes from Bull Falls Brewers Meeting September 14, 2006

18 people attended meeting held at Hereford & Hops.
 
After moving to the patio outside the meeting got underway about 7:30 pm.
 
Brett Danke gave the treasures report - approved as presented. It was reported that the club purchased a nearly 300 hundred gallon stainless vessel for $50.00. The purpose of which is to turn it into a mash tun.
 
Travis S reported on the Great Herron beer contest. Contest winners get to brew their recipe on a 7 barrel sytem plus receive 2 - 1/4 barrels of beer.
 
Brett D and Mike Z sent entries to the Sam Adam's Home Brew contest.
 
Mike Roman mentioned that a GoldenGrowler plannning meeting should take place in the near future.
 
The meeting topic was on Schnapps making. The topic was presented by Scott Burton who did a fine job demonstrating the process and providing everyone interested, a sample. Hand-outs on the topic were distribtued.
 
At the October meeting  the club will be doing a beer tasting using commercial examples of Brown Ale. Northern Englsh Brown Ale is this year's Golden Growler club contest beer.
