Minutes from Bull Falls Brewers Meeting March 13, 2008

Bill Flood called the meeting to order at about 7:10pm.
Treasurer's Report
Savings........................ $832.93
Cash............................ $88.45
Total $921.38
Election of officers:
The room was polled to see if there were any other
members wishing to be nominated for an officer position. No
response.
Mike Roman made a motion to unanimously except Greg
Sperry as Treasurer, Joel VerDuin as Secretary, and Travis Skroch as
President. With no objections the motion passed.
Thanks were given by all present for the services of the prior officers.
Golden Growler Update:
Travis Skroch and Mike Roman both spoke about
the upcoming Golden Growler competition. We will be choosing our
club's American IPA representatives at next month's meeting. Mike
took t-shirt orders and Travis asked people to sign up to help judge,
steward, or other volunteer efforts.
Red Eye Brewing:
Kevin Eichelberg is nearly ready to start brewing over at Red Eye. They should be opening in spring.
BJCP Judging:
We practiced judging a couple of commercially brewed beers as a preperation for next month's judging of our American IPA's.
Kevin Bowen/H&H:
Kevin Bowen informed us that he has given his
notice to leave H&H and return to Fox Valley brewing. This
shouldn't effect our Golden Growler competition, and Kevin is still
willing to help us out. We'll miss you and the beers Kevin!
Membership Dues:
Annual dues were collected from those present. Remember to pay at the next meeting if you missed this one.
H&H Beer:
Motion made to buy a pitcher of beer from H&H passed.
The meeting never officially adjourned but shuffled upstairs to enjoy the beer and conversation.
