Minutes from Bull Falls Brewers Meeting May 8, 2008
The May meeting was called to order by President Travis Skroch.
We welcome a couple of potential new members - Chad Hoffer and Dick Lind.
Some upcoming brew related events/dates were discussed:
- Brew-HaHa
- Susen Trail's party (May 25)
- WI Rapids brewfest (Sep. 6)
- Marshfield's Hub City Days (July 26)
- Edgar Steam Show (July 24 - 27)
No official action was taken on any of these events. We will discuss participation in the upcoming summer meetings.
Travis then asked for feedback from those present on what they wanted to discuss in the coming year. Ideas suggested were:
-Beginners/Starters workshop
-Gadgets
-Membership Cards
-Baseball caps/t-shirts
-Big Brew
-Dry Hopping
-Decoction
-Growing Hops
-Make your own Jockey Box
-Bring-A-Friend/Teach-A-Friend day
We also talked about reaching out to some old members we haven't seen in a while and getting them back on board.
The officers will take this feedback and use it to plan the year's
meetings. Other suggestions, or offers to present something, are
always welcome.
